Founded in Nigde since 2010 , Mert Oil Biodiesel is the one of the Turkey's oldest operating biodiesel producer. Today with nearly 20 employees, Mert Oil recycles used cooking oil from restaurants statewide to produce its clean, 100% renewable fuel.

Our mission is to promote clean and sustainable energy with renewable fuels. With a  production capacity of 30 million liters annually, Mertoil’s refinery in Nigde/Turkey utilizes state-of-the art distillation technology to produce highest quality biodiesel .

The company has always focused on recycling with a zero-waste philosophy that incorporates development of value-added co-products. The founders of Mertoil 2021 will began farming sunflower and other biofuel crops in Nigde – supporting food security, energy security and carbon sequestration.
